Important Notice About Stored Property & Insurance

We know the belongings you keep in your storage unit matter to you. While we work hard to maintain a secure, well-managed facility, Sasquatch Mini Storage cannot assume responsibility for any personal property stored onsite. For this reason, our lease strongly recommends that every tenant carry insurance protection for the items they store.

Many—though not all—homeowners’ and renters’ insurance policies offer coverage for belongings kept in a self-storage unit. We encourage you to check with your insurance provider to confirm what coverage you have, as well as any deductibles, limits, or exclusions that may apply.

Please note that our team is not qualified or authorized to assess your insurance needs or advise on whether your existing policy is sufficient. For accurate guidance, your insurance agent is the best resource.

When can I move in?

As long as a unit that fits your needs is available, you can move in anytime during our regular access hours. The entire rental process can be completed online, so you can choose your unit, sign your lease, and get your gate code instantly.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept PAD, cheques, VISA, MasterCard, E-transfer and cash for your convenience.

Are there any items that I am NOT able to store?

Yes. For safety and regulatory reasons, the following items are not permitted in our storage units: explosives, flammable liquids, toxic or hazardous materials, perishables, e-bikes, and lithium batteries.

How much notice do I need to give before moving out?

Our rentals are strictly month-to-month, giving you full flexibility. We simply ask for 2 days’ notice before you move out so we can update your account and prepare the unit for the next tenant.
